Prayer Corner
I found Him, as the door opened on to brilliant morning. He came to me in a kind word, a gentle smile, a stranger's greeting. He sits beside me as I turn a page, my mind is stilled, and I recall old times, fond memories. I feel His touch in hallowed silence, as I close my eyes, embrace soothing darkness. For He is there, beside, among us, everywhere. And with us always.

When the day before me seems forbidding, Lord stay beside me. When I know I lack courage, when I feel hurt and alone, when I feel worthless, when I have let people down, when I feel defeated by the world and its unforgiving ways - Lord, stay beside and never leave me. Ease my troubled mind. Refresh and sustain me. Help me grow in faith and love. And use me, even me, to spread the good news of Your glorious Kingdom.

Bring down the shutters of your mind. Let a deep peace enfold you. He is before you, let Him be your Guide. You will not fail. His loving arms will hold you. All will be well.

May Your soft, insistent whisper work its gentle way more and more into our lives, so that we listen to Your still, small voice and allow ourselves to be still and know that You are God.
